Education that

prioritizes health equity

Education that prioritizes health equity.

Innovative education and training bring health equity to the forefront.

With the best intentions, healthcare staff and providers are often encouraged to “treat all patients equally.” However, equality is not the same as equity. Demographic data collection and use indicate that unique patient populations have distinct needs. A one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare can leave vulnerable patient groups overlooked and underserved.

As a health equity champion, you seek resources proven to accelerate the journey to better care and experiences for diverse and vulnerable populations. More Inclusive Healthcare provides innovative educational and training solutions designed to bring about equity in health so that everyone has a fair opportunity to attain their full health potential and no one is disadvantaged from achieving this potential.

Health disparities are differences in health and health outcomes that are linked to social, economic, and environmental disadvantage. These differences typically put a higher burden of stress, illness, disability, and mortality on marginalized groups who have systematically experienced greater obstacles to health due to historical discrimination or exclusion based on their race or ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or geographic location.
